I know I am not alone when I say, I need to stop and be thankful to God more often.\u00a0 Too many times life rushes by with all it’s distractions and before we know it we forget to thank God for another day of life.\u00a0 The same hustle and bustle that keeps me from having time to stop and thank God for all things also keeps me from having time to update my websites. So let me take time to do both right now.<\/p>\n
Thank You God for all the blessings you have given my family and I. Thank You for the bad things that you have\u00a0protected us\u00a0from.\u00a0 Thank you for answering “no” to my prayers when what I wanted did not fit into Your plan.\u00a0 And most of all thank You for dying on the cross for my sins.<\/p>\n
“give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus<\/em>.” \u00a01 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)\u00a0 Note that it doesn’t say be thankful for<\/em> all circumstances.\u00a0 If you are going through a bad time, you don’t have to be thankful for the bad, but you should be thankful to God while you go through it.<\/p>\n Thanksgiving should be a year round state of mind, not a once a year excuse to eat turkey and dressing and watch football.
